We are a happily married couple. He is in his mid 40’s and she is in her (very) early 50’s.
After years of saving and investing we discovered what is now the FIRE movement. Seeing other people’s success inspired us to reassess our lives, priorities and goals.
We decided that after a combined 50 years in the workforce it was time to scale back our lives, ramp up our savings and finally make our dream become a reality.
In February 2021 we sold everything we owned, unless we needed it in our RV, so we could live our dream of life on the road full time.
After three years of full-time RV travel we fell in love with a small town in Texas. After trying to purchase a home and failing we decided to buy some property and build our dream house.
